WIP Wednesday

Wow, is it Wednesday again already? I’ve been so busy crocheting to meet a deadline. My work in progress is actually completed! And I’m worse for the wear. There is a muscle that is killing me in my wrist. Anyone else ever hurt themself crocheting? If so, when will it stop hurting?

Day 16 of the blog challenge is short and sweet, for me, currently I don’t follow anyone on Twitter. Any suggestions of whom I should follow? Complete Twitter newbie here!

Well, anyway I finished my basket weave baby blanket. I used teal and lavender Lion Brand Pound of love. The WIP-y part is now I’m writing up the pattern.

Speaking of hats, I’m also working on my first DESIGN-A-LONG. I’m so excited! It will be just like a crochet-a-long, but we will be working on how to create a design from start to finish! More details will be posted on my Facebook Fan page . Like me for the details.

If you have the time check out:

What are you up to this fine Wednesday?

Sorry to hear your wrist is hurting as a result of all your work. The blanket and hat look beautiful.

Your customer must be quite happy with the blanket and hat, lovely. The butterfly is a nice touch.

    Lovely colors 🙂

If your wrist keeps hurting, give it a rest …or try crocheting with your other hand for a while!

Lovely blanket – and yes I agree with Spinster Beth the colors are great together. I get hurt shoulders and sometimes wrists when I’m crocheting a lot. I think I tense up without realizing it. I keep hearing one of my teachers say “crochet is suppose to be relaxing” whenever I catch myself tense up. 🙂

Twitter to follows for crochet: @crochetblogger (Kathryn of Crochet Concupiscence) @woolwatcher (yarn store) @anastaciaknits (crochets too) @creationsbycris (does a lot of teaching and charity projects) @bobwilson123 does video tutorials on youtube @mymerrymessylife (lots of awesome free patterns) I could go on and on but these should start you out.
